Does it work with our scanned or messy documents?

Yes. The assistant reads scanned PDFs too, thanks to integrated OCR. Documents with tables, complex layouts, or mediocre scan quality still get indexed. For particularly problematic documents we run a preliminary assessment and tell you honestly what is recoverable and what is not.

Can the AI invent answers?

No, it is specifically designed not to. Every answer is anchored to specific passages of your documents, with exact reference. If the answer is not in the indexed content, the assistant declares it — it does not generate fabricated content. On request we can also block answers below a certain confidence threshold.

Do our documents stay confidential? Where are they processed?

Yes, they always remain yours. Hosting in the EU region (eu-central-1) on certified cloud infrastructure. Documents never leave to consumer AI providers for training. NDA on request from the first contact. Audit trail for every query.

How long until it is operational on our corpus?

Typically 3-5 weeks: one week of setup and document ingestion, one to two weeks of tuning and calibration on real questions from your team, one week of onboarding the first users. You see the first concrete demo on your documents within two weeks of the initial call.

Can we limit who can ask what?

Yes, with granular permissions per user, group or role. For example: sales sees pricelists and contracts but not HR procedures; the technical office sees manuals and confidential regulations; everyone can search public regulations.
