An SME does not have 220 days of AI work a year. Hiring full-time means paying for capacity that sits idle half the time. Five days a month is the right size for almost every company we work with. When more is needed, more is added.

Employer cost = gross annual salary × 1.38 (employer social contributions 28.98%, severance accrual 6.91%, insurance ~0.5%; Italian Commerce-Services collective agreement, SME), consistent with the 38.4% contribution-to-pay ratio measured by ISTAT. Based on a profile with 3-5 years of experience (€40-55k gross), including recruitment, workstation, licences and training. Regional tax deductions and the 2026 contribution reliefs are not counted, and would lower the actual cost. PLUTEO's fee corresponds to 5 reserved person-days a month: the comparison is about the collaboration model, not the number of hours.
Every month you get 5 person-days of reserved capacity: development, evolution and maintenance of the solutions already running. We draw a roadmap together and execute it in the order you decide, revisiting priorities every cycle. We join meetings when needed and answer technical questions throughout the month, the way someone on your payroll would. The difference is you do not have to find them, train them and keep them.
The first month opens with a process audit and the roadmap, both included in the fee: no separate quote before we begin. From there we work one workstream at a time, on a fortnightly cadence with a monthly review of results. Every month you receive a statement of days consumed and days left. Before each piece of work we tell you what we estimate it will cost in days, so you decide whether it is worth it.
The €3,300 monthly fee covers the 5 person-days, consulting and governance throughout the month, maintenance of whatever is already in production, and the first on-site visit of the month. It does not cover cloud infrastructure and AI model licences, which stay in your name on your own account: you pay actual consumption to the provider, with no markup, and we help you govern the budget. If a piece of work exceeds the month's capacity, we say so beforehand: you can spread it across later months, buy extra days, or make it a separate project.
Critical requests on production systems are picked up within 1 working day, ordinary ones within 3, Monday to Friday. Your data stays in Europe and your documents are never used to train anyone's models. Critical actions go through human approval and every operation is traced. We sign the data processing agreement required by art. 28 GDPR and an AI Act addendum. These are contract clauses, not slogans: you read them before signing.
They are different things and it pays to choose well. AI consulting is a one-off assessment: we work out if and where AI can help you, leave you a report, and you decide. An AI team is continuous execution: the assessment is done, now you need someone to build, maintain and evolve the solutions month after month. If you do not yet know where to start, start with consulting. If you already know, you are wasting time.

Your data stays yours
On-premise or dedicated private cloud. No training of public models on your business data. You decide what enters the system and what doesn't.
The minimum term is 6 months. After that it renews for 12-month periods unless cancelled. Past the minimum term you can withdraw at any time with 60 days' written notice: no penalty, you simply pay the fee for the notice period.
Five person-days of reserved capacity (a day being 8 hours), consulting and technical direction throughout the month, maintenance of solutions already running, and the first on-site visit of the month. One point deserves to be plain: unused days do not roll over to the next month. The fee buys the reserved availability of capacity, not a bucket of hours to spend.
Cloud infrastructure, licences and third-party AI models: these stay on your account, in your name, so you see exactly what you consume and no markup passes through us. Also excluded is work that, by size, exceeds the reserved capacity: we plan it within the same roadmap and handle it with extra days or a separate project contract, always subject to your written acceptance.
You do, every cycle. You appoint an internal contact who sets priorities and signs off deliveries. We work one workstream at a time, to avoid opening five building sites and finishing none: if a second one is needed, we discuss it and put it in writing.
We pick up critical requests (production solutions unreachable or essential functions blocked) within 1 working day, and ordinary requests within 3 working days. The service window is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. We do not promise night or weekend cover: if someone promises you that, ask them to put it in the contract.
No. Your data and documents are hosted in the EU, normally on your own cloud account, and are not used to train third-party models. We sign the data processing agreement required by art. 28 GDPR and an AI Act addendum. For the most sensitive processing we provide a component that pseudonymises confidential data before it reaches the models.
